How to delete your account in the app
If you have the Steady app installed, deleting your account takes a few taps:
- Open the Steady app on your Android device.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm when asked. Your account and data are removed right away.
Deleting your account is permanent and can't be undone. There's no way to recover your conversations or progress afterwards.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile (name, sobriety date, and other details you entered)
- Your conversation history with Ray
- Ray's memory of you
- Your usage and analytics data
Once this is done, none of this information remains tied to you in our systems.
What we keep, and for how long
We don't keep your personal account data after deletion. In some cases, basic technical or security logs (for example, records that help us prevent abuse) may remain for a short period as part of our normal systems, but these are not used to identify you and are cleared in the ordinary course.
We never keep your conversations, profile, or memory after you delete your account.
Can't open the app? Request deletion here
If you've already uninstalled Steady or can't get into your account, request deletion below. We'll verify the request by email to the address on the account, then delete everything and confirm when it's done.
